GENEVIÈVE JOËLLE VILLAMIZAR

Landscape Designer, Salt + Dirt | Outside Design

Almost 30-years into my design career, I've come to cherish the interconnectedness of what I do for a living and how I live. I'm a backyard farmer. I run the WildChild Chikken Co-op with my 10 yo daughter. I fly fish. Hunt. Forage. And wander the wildness of my backyard more than the backcountry.

MICHAEL PAGAN

Aspen Grove Property Services

"The aspen is the world's largest living organism.  A single grove can grow large enough to cover an entire mountainside while the trees within the grove are interconnected through their shared root system.  Each tree stands as an individual and at the same time is connected to the whole, believes founder, Michael Pagan. "In that same way, Aspen Grove Property Services, Inc. realizes that its success and growth is based upon its connectivity and relationships with clients.  For this reason, we place a premium on cultivating strong relationships with our clients and delivering unsurpassed professionalism, honesty, and courtesy in each transaction."

DANIELLE DAVIS

Danielle is a marketing communications consultant for sustainable food & ag companies, a freelance writer and a skilled food educator. Through all of these roles, she seeks to advance important work being done across our food system. Her favorite people love two things - good food and good conversation - and she'll find any excuse to gather people around a table, especially if the food was grown right there in the backyard - especially a Backcountry Backyard.

Lighting up the world through glass and "found object" mosaics

NATALIE LEBLEU

Deep thinker with a sense of humor oh, so wrong, LeBleu is inspired by the ineffable energy embodied within ordinary moments, places, and vignettes. A badass on the outside, LeBleu expresses inner true colors through the mosaics she creates in her Louisiana studio. Outside glass is her current obsession, but her indoor pieces have found homes all across the US.
